Thank you to all of my many supporters and voters that I met and got to know during this incredible process. Running for office was an incredible honor and an incredible educational experience. I always viewed public office as a way to work to make things better, just as I have done with my many other charitable and community activities, and, notwithstanding the election results, I will continue to work make our community better and to be involved.

Thanks again to all of you, and, if there is one final message I can leave you all with it is this: whether you are a democrat, republican, independent or other, get involved. Our democracy and government work best when people pay attention, get involved and make their voices heard. I will continue to be involved, and I hope that all of you will too.
